We take our name in honor of a recording company that lived for a short time in 1927. Finding a Black Patti record is a collectors dream as many of these records have been lost or destroyed and have since become some of the most rare and sought after American music ever recorded.

Here at Black Patti Productions this spirit lives on. We scour the globe for interesting, honest, and beautiful music and culture that otherwise wouldn’t get the chance to leave the hotbeds that allows it to flourish.
